On November 21, 2024, I had the pleasure of guiding the young North American ornithologist from the University of Louisiana on my Serra dos Órgãos birding tour.
Despite the not very favorable weather conditions on the day, we managed to watch several endemics of the Atlantic Forest, in the high and lower parts of the Serra dos Órgãos National Park, and also in the Vale da Revolta headquarters of the Três Picos State Park.
Highlights of the day included the White-browed Warbler (Myiothlypis leucoblephara), the Rufous Gnateater (Conopophaga lineata) and the Yellow-throated Woodpecker (Piculus flavigula), these and many other new additions to his lifelist.

I thank Eamon for trusting my work and his colleague and my friend Marco Rego for recommending my bird guide services. I hope for his return soon.
