Resuming my activities as a birdwatching guide after fieldwork in Minas Gerais, on September 9th I showed some of the birds of the Tijuca National Park to Alice and her boyfriend Nestar. She is a Swiss-Brazilian citizen and he is French.
The highlights of the day were the Black-cheeked Gnateater (Conopophaga melanops), the Dusky-throated Hermit (Phaethornis squalidus), the Red-necked Tanager (Tangara cyanocephala), the Rufous-breasted Leaftosser (Sclerurus scansor) and the Star-throated Antwren (Rhopias gularis).

Thank you Alice and Nestar for trusting my services and Ricardo Barbosa from Pica Pau Tours for another recommendation.
