Guiding Stefan and Anya at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden

At April 5th I had the pleasure to guide the birders Stefan and Anya, from the Netherlands, at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden.

Despite the still hot summer morning we managed to watch many new species (lifers) for them, including a new show of the Channel-billed Toucans (Ramphastos vitellinus). Green-headed Tanagers (Tangara seledon), Maroon-bellied Parakeets (Pyrrhura frontalis) and the Chestnut-backed Antshrike (Thamnophilus palliatus) were also recorded.
